Talking Points
The Bucks are still in the playoff chase, but are stumbling a bit. The talking points you'd need to know are: a) these two teams met just 9 days ago, with the Bucks getting whipped; b) the Bucks are hoping to get G Mo Williams back from injury, as he really makes their offense go since they have no suitable backup; c) Bobby Simmons didn't play in the last game; and d) the Bucks are at home, where they have a more-than-respectable 17 - 9 record. Oh, and they also say that they just needed the breather the All Star break provided, especially since their best player and Net killer Michael Redd wasn't picked to play.

The Nets' superstar was, though. Vince Carter played only 17 minutes in the All Star game and missed two dunks, but he's been battling a cold and nagging little injuries, so who knows if rest would have helped the Nets tremendously. Everyone else was off to the beaches, though, so expect some adjustment time and both teams relearn what they tried to forget during the weekend.

Can the Nets turn a civil conversation into a convincing shouting match of a win on the road, where they don't exactly look like world beaters this year? Or will the Bucks speak their case by unleashing Redd and that pocket rocket TJ Ford in a loud discussion of running and shooting?

Milwaukee Bucks Cheat Sheet
The Story From Milwaukee: Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Simmons won't be prosecuted over allegations that he fondled and punched a woman in an incident that led to his arrest Oct. 3. Assistant District Attorney Chris Liegel said conflicting accounts of the encounter left him without enough evidence to prosecute Simmons for a crime. Simmons has been free on $700 bail since the day of his arrest. Police referred recommended charges of misdemeanor battery and fourth-degree sexual assault, also a misdemeanor, to prosecutors.

Pain Game: G Mo Williams (ankle) is day-to-day.
